This Privacy Policy describes how In House Live, Inc (“In House Live”) collects, uses, and discloses the information we collect from you and about you when you use our Services. This Privacy Policy is effective as of 08/03/2020. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please don't use our Services.



1. Applicability of This Privacy Policy


We uphold the strictest privacy policies around. The only information we collect is your email, phone number, and Performer’s name. These pieces of information will never be shared with any third parties without your explicit permission. Your payment information is handled directly by our payment facilitator, Stripe; we only store a reference to that information to access it to pay you, never storing the information itself. You can rest assured that your information is protected with the highest security standards in existence.

This Privacy Policy applies to our website, network of websites, Services, our desktop and mobile applications, and other interactions (for example, customer service inquires) you may have. If you do not agree to these terms, do not access or use our Services, website, or any other aspect of our business. The Privacy Policy does not apply to any third party applications or software that integrates with the Services, or any other third party services.


2. Information You Provide to Us


In House Live collects a variety of information that you provide directly to us. We process your information:


2.1. When necessary to provide you with the Services that you have requested when accepting our Terms, and/or when agreeing to our Terms of Service;


2.2. To update, maintain, and protect our Services or Website;


2.3. If and when we have obtained your prior written consent;


2.4. If it is necessary to comply with the law or the binding order of a governmental body, or with a legal process or regulation;

We are compliant with California Civil Code §1798.83-1798.84 as we do not collect your personal information for marketing purposes.

4. Information From and About You


4.1. The information that we collects will depend on the Services you license and/or use. The types of data we collect may include personally identifiable information (“PII”), which may include: performer name, telephone number, and email address details. We do not use or disclose PII unless reasonably necessary for Service optimization, to correct technical problems, and to technically process the data as it relates to the Services being provided to you by In House LIve.


4.2. We take privacy and security of this type of data (PII) very seriously, and we work hard to protect it from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, or disclosure. We try to remain compliant with ISO 27001 (information security management systems) and ISO 27018 (for personal data stored in the cloud).


4.3. In certain cases, we have a legal obligation to collect and process your personal information (such as collecting data on income to share with tax authorities).


5. Information We Automatically Collect


When you use our Services that connect on the Internet, we collect information such as:


5.1. Log Files. We provide procedural mechanisms that record and examine activity in information systems that contain or use electronic information, including appropriate logs and reports (“log files”). The log files may include information about web requests, Internet Protocol, browser type, URL, and number of clicks. In House Live (i) backs-up logs on a daily basis, (ii) implements commercially reasonable measures to protect such logs from unauthorized modification or erasure, and (iii) retains such logs in compliance with our data retention policy. If there is suspicion of inappropriate access to the Service, we have the ability to provide your log entry records to assist in forensic analysis. The logs will be provided to you on a time and materials basis.


5.2. Cookies. By entering into this Agreement and through using the Services you have requested, you consent to collection of Cookies by In House Live. We do not use Cookies for advertising purposes. We only use Cookies for analytics and functional services, including the use of Google Analytics. You can read more about how Google uses your data here. If you wish to expressly withdraw consent to us regarding the collection of Cookies, please withdraw consent by emailing support@inhouselive.net. You can also change your browser setting to notify you when a cookie is being set or updating, or to block collection of Cookies altogether.


6. Retention of Information and Data


We will retain data only as necessary, and with your instructions and prior consent. Any additional applicable terms of any data retention will be detailed in the Terms of Service Agreement.


7. Third-Party Services and Websites.


Our Services may link to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Notice does not govern the privacy practices of such third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party websites and services to understand their practices. If you connect to a third-party services (such as Stripe, Facebook, Instagram, Spotify, or another third-party application) through our Services, you are requesting and authorizing us to share or grant access to information on your behalf (such as your email, phone number, the fact that you are connecting through our Services, and other relevant and diagnostic information) with such third party. We may also send information about the consent you stream or watch or your activities on the In House Live Services to such third parties.


8. California Privacy Rights


8.1. In House Live is compliant with California’s Online Privacy Protection Act. This compliance is detailed above in Section 2, 3, 4, and below in Section 7.2.


8.2. California law gives residents of California the right under certain circumstances to request information from us regarding the manner in which we share certain categories of personal information (as defined by applicable California law) with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. However, In House Live does not share your personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.


8.3. If you are a California resident, you hereby waive California Civil Code §1542, which says: “A general release does not extend to claims which the creditor does not know or suspect to exist in his favor at the time of executing the release, which if known by him must have materially affected his settlement with the debtor.” This release includes the criminal acts of others.


8.4. Note that your browser settings may allow you to automatically transmit a “Do Not Track” signal to websites and online services you visit. There is no consensus among industry participants as to what “Do Not Track” means in this context. Like many websites and online services, In House Live currently does not alter its practices when it receives a “Do Not Track” signal from a visitor’s browser.
